Naughty Boy Cafe

Nothing is better than relaxing outside in the open, beautiful skies, beautiful weather, beautiful food and beautiful milkshakes. It was a time of relaxation and guilty indulgence that the Naughty Boy atmosphere provided.

The Glorious insta-shakes, literally the one and only reason I decided to come here. After spotting photos of these heavenly drinks, I immediately planned with a few friends to be able to indulge into their finest specialties.

I'll also note that I was never able to get the name of the porridge dish in the photo so I won't be reviewing it.

Black Angus Burger ($19)
Broiche, pickled red cabbage, seeded mustard, fresh tomato, smoked mozzarella, special sauce, cheese & bacon balls

With much research, I decided to go for the Black Angus Burger, recommended by a friend, it was definitely one of the best burgers I have ever had.

What differentiates this burger from the rest is the the amazing sauce, the "special sauce" gave a unique flavour and enhanced the flavour by a large margin. Accompanied by the freshness of the other ingredients of the burger, especially the smoked mozzarella as it packed an impact of flavour, it was a burger to die for.

The bacon and cheese balls were also a delicious accompaniment to the burger, different from the usual chips, it was an nice change and tasted great with the accompanying sauce.

(8.5)

French Fries ($8)

Simple, crispy and well-seasoned. Pretty good fries, though a tad pricey.

(7/10)

Chocolate & Nutella Fudge, Pavlova & Salted Caramel Instashakes ($12 each)

Chocolate & Nutella Fudge
Gluten free brownie, white chocolate mousse, freezed dried fruits.

Pavlova
Coconut milk, vanilla, lime, passion fruit curd, meringue, kiwi fruit, mixed berries & strawberry fairy floss

Salted Caramel
Nutella, sticky date rice pudding, peanut brittle, butterscotch cream

I was definitely looking forward to these the most. The instant these divine, beautiful milkshakes came onto our table, I was excited. Definitely Instagram-able material, these milkshakes were just as pretty as the other dishes.

Though a shame the presentation didn't live up to its taste. The milkshakes were quite average, sweet and smooth, but it was lacking in many fields. The toppings on the milkshakes were pretty good. I preferred the gluten free brownie as the accompanying nutella on the cups worked incredibly well together.

The pavlova, I'll admit i'm not a fan of pavlova so I knew it wouldn't have been my cup of tea.

The sticky date rice pudding was pretty average, a tad dry, it didn't seem to work well with me.

Choc - (7/10) Pavlova - (6/10) Salted Caramel - (5.5/10)
